How long does it take to receive my certificate?
You receive your certificate immediately upon passing the final exam. Simply download your certificate and wallet card. We can also mail your wallet card directly to you if you prefer. It’s that easy!
What happens if I don’t pass the final exam?
The final exam can be taken as often as it takes to pass. You will have unlimited access to the course curriculum and the exam for 60 days. There is no additional charge for this unlimited access.
How long is the course?
Depending on your familiarity with CPR, First Aid and AED techniques, the course will take between 30 minutes to 1.5 hours to complete.
What happens if I can’t finish the course all at one time?
The course is designed for you take at your convenience and you don’t have to finish all at once. You will have the ability to log on whenever and wherever you have the time. It’s that easy!
How much does the course cost?
The total cost for ALL THREE components of the course (CPR, First Aid and AED) is only $39.95. Other training programs will cost as much as $75.00. We are simply the best value available!
Do I have to take additional skills or “hands on” training to get my certification?
No. Our course is interactive with easy to follow step by step instructions and videos to guide you through the proper techniques of CPR, First Aid, and AED use. Hands on training is available in certain areas. Please contact us for further information regarding availability. Contact us!
How long is my certification valid?
Your certification will be valid for a period of two years from the date of course completion. To avoid a lapse in certification, we will contact you via email 2 months prior to your certification expiring.
How do I pay for the course?
When you register for the course, you will be asked to provide payment via credit or debit card. We accept all major credit cards. If preferred, you also have the option of sending a cashier’s check to American Health and Safety Training. Once received, you will be given an access code to the site curriculum and test. It’s that easy!
Who are the instructors?
All instructors at American health and Safety Training have been certified instructors through American Health and Safety Training, Inc., the American Heart Association, and American Red Cross.
